I was so exited when I saw them about to announce a new Crash game and then immediately disappointed. Now I'm left with an overwhelming sense of "Meh..."
Wasn't a big fan of GoW3 but this new direction is getting me exited. Really hope the QTE's are toned WAAAY down. They were cool on the PS2, but man, do they take you right out of the immersion of a game. I was getting tired of playing DDR in GoW2 and hated them in #3.
I agree. Any website that has more ads than article on each of the ELEVEN pages you must click through should be automatically failed. It's literally a post-it note article on a legal page of ads. I feel dirty just for clicking the link.

First time I played this game, I stayed up for over 24 hours. That alone tells me it deserves more than a 7.9.
This is the tactical shooter that I've been waiting for.
Definitely getting a samurai-souls vibe from this game.
It's got a stamina bar and what looks like phantom co-op summoning.
Gonna keep my eyes on this one!
Give us two new maps. Give every map a second rush mode area on the other side of the map. Bring back TSNE and RES.
But honestly; the game is already dead and abandoned. So I don't have much hope for it.
This game is artificially lengthened in every way conceivable.

I too played around 3000 hours of MGO2 and I've been playing a lot of MGO3. ...because I know that by December it will be forgotten.
Why they threw out everything they learned with previous MGOs to bring us this mess is beyond me.
And forcing me to play with Japanese, Germans Australians, and Brits in the same game because there is no regional option for match making is causing a bullshit lagfest.

I have an ascended scout, enforcer and an ascended 2 infiltrator. You might say that I've played a bit. Right now, I don't see myself playing this after a month because of all the lag. I have had so many hilariously laggy situations in so many games that I can no longer take this game seriously. It is just a huge joke.

What lag? Are you implying that you have had a lag free MGO3 experience? You are either the luckiest MGO3 player ever, or to dumb to know what lag is when you see it.
Just go to YouTube, search for "MGO3 Lag," and you'll find page after page filled with clips game breaking lag.
Best TPS out there right now, but if they don't fix some of the major issues it won't last very long.
The instant respond on buddies who are already dead/fultoned. Have some penalty for death 5-10 seconds would be enough. I cant count how many times I've been killed by the person I just killed less than 1 second ago.

Region locking the matchmaking. THE LAG, HOLY...
The boxes can take your mark and you can leave them as traps to lure people out. Players are catching on to that and know that they are used as traps. Now I just stay in the box when I am marked and people will just walk by me. ...sometimes.
I do agree that there needs to be some random boxes placed around the map though.
It's looking like the US is gonna have to wait for the store to update.
